Our crew recently flew over to Tucson, Arizona to shoot with Duft & Watterson and had a blast hanging in the desert with some really beautiful views. Our team joined forces with local crew to make some magic happen, and we’re excited to share more soon!

It’s time to have the flex talk.

This spring, we partnered with Portland-based flexible footwear technology brand Carbitex to create a campaign hero spot for their newly-launched web presence—the Center for Better Flex.

Inspired by both the dry 90’s commercial aesthetic and mid-2000s on-the-nose humor, the entire premise of the piece—which Visionkit wrote, directed, shot, edited, and delivered—was a cheeky play on “having better flex”. Yes, it is a direct nod to what you’re thinking, and yes, we meant it.

This production made full use of our W 34th studio space, as we constructed two completely different sets on the same floor—a nostalgic basement setting for our hero family and a lab on our c*c wall to showcase our Center for Better Flex + Flex Expert, as she treats couples of all kinds.

Carbitex taught us how to have better flex, and now you can learn it too 😉

One thing you’ll notice about us: we’re always looking for ways to move brands forward. It helps that brands like Direct Orthopedic Care have some literal momentum.

Our latest campaign with DOC built excitement around being active and knowing there’s reliable care in Idaho to keep folks moving and enjoying life - reflected in the brand by expanding the color palette, and introducing iconography to serve each season. We even built out a bold typographic system that makes copy feel as active as the people it serves.

For this first phase, we treated stock photography like it was our own – carefully art directing every image to feel cohesive with the new brand system – while we prep for production, and our next round of ads... coming soon!

What happens when you want to bring the personality and charm from an existing coffee brand out to street corners and sidewalks? Bright color combinations and cheeky copywriting, that’s what.

When Form & Function Coffee came to us with the goal of peeking interest from all the foot traffic at their four locations, we started brainstorming on all the ways to do that, while introducing a fresh look to their marketing assets. The best part was jotting down a million different phrases that communicated their tone and humor and narrowing it down to four bold, simple, clear, and impressionable lines.

Anytime you see one of these you have to go in and get a coffee... that’s the rule.

Our busy bee Summer was kicked off with an in-studio shoot for our friends at - a footwear technology company based in the PNW. We built a full basement set on one side of our studio, and a lab/therapist’s office on our c*c, all while our clients got to hang out in our lounge upstairs, watching all of the action happen.

We had an absolute dream of a crew and cast to bring this story to life, and we can’t wait to flex it in front of all of our friends and fans. Until then, enjoy this cheeky BTS!
