Two one-of-a-kind pieces just released! These are authentic wet plate, ambrotype crucifix pieces, handmade through the 1800s collodion process. Each one entirely unique and impossible to duplicate exactly again. No prints. No replicas. No mass production. Created slowly, by hand on glass. Crown of thorns, nails, hammer with an alluring red varnish to symbolize the blood shed. There’s something deeply meaningful to me about creating sacred imagery through such an old and fragile process – light, silver, glass, time, and faith all meeting together in one object you can actually wear.
