✨This isn’t a “goodbye” but a “see you later!✨
God goes before us, he turns pain to purpose and then to blessings!
Six months ago, I put down my camera and picked up something even more valuable —this sweet baby boy. 💙
Since 2017, it has been such an honor and joy to capture beautiful memories for so many amazing clients. Photography has been an incredible journey, and as I approach my last sessions this Fall and my final wedding in November, I’m determined to go out on top and give these sessions my very best!
This decision wasn’t made lightly. There are two big reasons behind it…
First, as many of you know, I’ve battled an autoimmune disease that affects my optic nerves and vision, and will eventually cause partial to full blindness. For years, I’ve fought hard to stay in remission. In fact, one of the biggest blessings of that fight was my 100-pound weight loss through healthier eating and lifestyle changes. But earlier this year, I experienced one of the most serious flare-ups I’ve ever had—even though I was the healthiest I’d ever been.
After much searching, I realized that incorporating creatine into my fitness routine had triggered it. And while I’ve always taken precautions with my camera to protect my vision—using mirrorless, LCD screens, and UV filters—my doctors advised me that even with all that, it was still causing damage to my eyes. I knew this day would come, but you’re never fully prepared when it does.
But here’s the beautiful part: what God takes away, He always replaces with something better. 🙌
Shortly after, I found out I was going to be a grandma! And at the same time, my sister was struggling with sending her baby to daycare after maternity leave. God’s timing was perfect, and that’s when I put down my camera and picked up a baby.
And now… my hands are full with TWO! 💙💕
While I won’t be photographing clients anymore, I’ll never completely put down my passion. I’ll continue my love for landscape photography, but on a much smaller, personal scale.
To every single person who trusted me with your moments—thank you. You allowed me to live out my passion, and I truly gave my heart to every session and every image I delivered.
So no, this isn’t goodbye. This is just “see you later.” ✨
From the bottom of my heart—thank you!!😊
