We serve all of Northern Illinois and parts of Indiana and Wisconsin. I've always been obsessed with photography since an early age. I would take photos of everything I could as a little girl with my Barbie camera. I took my first photography class my senior year of high school. After high school, I focused more on nature photography, but that changed when I did some work for a nationally known po
rtrait studio. While working for the studio I realized how much I love photographing people. Weddings and Boudoir are my specialty. I photograph both traditional and non- traditional weddings. I can't get enough of capturing your magical love story! My Approach
I go above and beyond for my clients even helping you with non-photo tasks that may come up during our session. My style is photojournalistic. I focus more on capturing candid, natural reactions but also include posing. I walk you through the posing process and am always open to any photo ideas you may have as well! My goal is to create a relaxed, pressure-free environment for you and your family. I want to capture you in your most natural and spontaneous way. *One of my favorite things to do when I am not photographing people is chase storms and document severe weather! The National Weather Service even uses my photos in their spotter training materials! I have had my photos featured on the news by Tom Skilling and Mary Kay Kleist. I've also had the privilege to travel to different photography clubs and show my storm pictures and teach about storm chasing.
*I have one of my tornado photos published in a National Geographic book called, “Rarely Seen”!
*Mexican food is some of my favorite food on earth and I would eat it every day if I could.
*Another love of mine is handling and caring for Raptors like Eagles and Owls. I took a raptor management class in 2015 and received my “Raptor Management Certification”. I now help a rehab friend of mine care for and train her raptors.
