This was a bucketlist session for me... and man did they make it the best ever. I think that they turned out just perfectly. I can thank you enough for allowing me the opportunity to be your photographer!! 🤍

To our wonderful clients,

First, thank you. Thank you for your patience, your prayers, your kind messages, and the grace you’ve shown our family over the past couple of weeks.

As many of you know, we recently lost Derek’s Mother. It has been one of the hardest seasons our family has ever walked through, and we’ve been taking the time we needed to be together, grieve, and celebrate a life that was so deeply loved.

As difficult as this season has been, it’s also reminded us just how precious photographs truly are. Looking back through images of her life—the everyday moments, the celebrations, the hugs, the laughter—has been an incredible gift. It has given even deeper meaning to the work we’re honored to do for each of you.

I’m slowly finding my way back into a routine and am back to responding to messages, emails, and working through galleries. Thank you for your continued patience as I catch up. Please know that every gallery is being cared for with the same heart and attention it always has.

From our family to yours, thank you for loving us so well. Your kindness has carried us through these past weeks more than you’ll ever know. We are so grateful for each of you and for the privilege of preserving the memories that will one day become priceless.

Hannah + Ashton Mixon | Georgetown Presbyterian | Winyah Indigo Society Hall 🫶

Wow! Just WHAT. A. DAY! Hannah and Ashtons wedding day just left me speechless. It was truly everything. Romantic, beautiful, fun and every emotion that you would hope to have on your wedding day.

Ashtons sweet face filled with tears as Hannah walked down the aisle said it all. I can't help but think of the end of "Tangled" where Flynn Rider is talking about Repunzel when he quotes "Beloved by all- she was a princess worth waiting for." Hannah, you were a wife worth waiting for, you truly are beloved by your husband, friends and family. You are a ball of sunshine that lights up a room whenever you walk into it.

I can't even believe that I got to have you as one of my brides- how lucky am I?!

Hannah + Ashton | The night before... | Winyah Indigo Society Hall 🫶

They're off to the chapel tomorrow, and I literally cannot wait! It's going to be such a special day. 🤍
The last night before they become a married couple was beautiful and unforgettable. There was so much laughter, so many smiles, and plenty of tears. Hannah's brother gave the sweetest speech tonight, and I don't think there was a dry eye in the room—myself included. 🥹🤍

What a beautiful way to begin such an exciting weekend. I can't wait to celebrate these two tomorrow and watch the next chapter of their story begin. 🤍✨

Hannah & Ashton | Pawleys Island 🤍🫶💍

This gorgeous, soon to be wed couple wanted to capture and celebrate this sweet season a place that was meaningful to them as a couple and I just love that! I am always happy to recommend locations, but if there is a place that is significant to you, I will always opt for sentimental!

Emily | Georgetown High School | Class of 2026 🫶

I got to meet Emily for the first time at her senior session last night and within minutes it was so easy to see what a special young woman she is.

My husband and I had a scheduling crossover right before her session started, and my children had to ride with me there for a few minutes —my Leon started talking to Emily as soon as he saw her and within minutes, I looked over and they were playing with his McDonald’s toys with him like she’d known him forever. She will never ever know how much that meant to me.

She is absolutely beautiful inside and out, and it’s obvious how deeply loved she is by her parents. It was such an honor to capture this season for her. And the photo of Emily and Leon at the end might just be one of my favorites from the whole evening. 🤍💙🎓

Andee & Hunter | April 25th, 2026 | Hopsewee Plantation | Downtown, Charleston, South Carolina | Rainbow Row 🌸

Andee and Hunter wed alongside their two beautiful boys, surrounded by their closest family beneath the spanish moss at Hopsewee. It was the most beautiful day.

As Andee walked into their ceremony space, Hunter beamed with the biggest sweetest smile that I have ever seen. It was the kind of smile that you could see that would carry these two through a hard day, a great day & a wonderful life together.

A moment that stood out to me for this elopement was this; their youngest son was crying when the ceremony started, wanting to be held, in true kid fashion. It didn't bother me or Derek a single bit, honestly we just smiled because right now that’s our life too. Andee bent down in her wedding gown and wiped away his little tears and picked him up. Being a mama never stops, not even on your wedding day, and Andee, you handled it with grace. Your sons adore you and it's so clear.

After their ceremony, we broke away with them and got to go to downtown Charleston, we walked from the battery, to meeting down rainbow row and the cobblestone streets to capture their portraits!

Thank you for allowing us into such an intimate space, and moment in your lives. We had the best time. 🫶😍🤍
