Grateful for the team that put together another excellent course, everyone who came out and splashed around, and the weather for honestly holding it together better than I expected 🫣 yall make sure you tell Hannah she’s an icon next time you see her because she organized/stewarded/cleaned up/set up etc etc this day and then went on to show at The Real Rider Cup that evening. That’s some dedication to your equestrian community and the horses we love 👌🏻

Things have been a little quiet over here on social’s, but it’s for reasons that mean the world to me.
May-July have been exclusively two types of sessions, neither of which are regularly shared on these accounts (all for good reasons).
I have been honored to provide Celebration of Life sessions as the bulk of these sessions. I am not sure why these last couple of months have seemed so fraught with loss and my heart goes out to every single person I have worked with.
For the peace and privacy of clients, I do not share these Celebration of Life sessions without explicit consent and never when the grief is fresh. I am grateful to Lauren who trusted me with Georgia’s photos, as well as being willing for them to be shared for other owners to know about the Celebration of Life sessions.

Celebration of Life sessions are provided for senior and terminal pets of all kinds. They focus intently on the details, capturing the deep connection, and sharing in all their quirks and personality. I truly believe everyone should have access to photos of their pets, and especially WITH their pets. These sessions have been built in a way to make them as accessible as possible and are my true passion for photography.

Georgia was the sweetest and happiest girl for her session. While her body was failing her, her spirit was not dimmed. We traipsed along a beautiful creek, soft spring flowers, and quiet little glens and Georgia sparkled through every step. It was easy to see how much love she had for her people, lighting up when her aunt Leah showed up and never straying far from Lauren’s side. Cancer is cruel and unfair, but Lauren gave Georgia a beautiful life right up to the end. I hope you’re running fast and unburdened now sweet girl 🌈

Some horses are just goofy and love to show off their personalities, some are eager for a sweet and tender moment, and some want to show off their beauty. Whether it’s your heart horse, the competition horse who you are chasing dreams with, or the pony that started it all for you, I want to capture the moments that make your relationship yours 💜
