39 days apart 🥹

39 days between capturing their maternity session and getting to walk into their home for their newborn session with their sweet girl.

One of my favorite things about photography will always be getting to document more than just one moment.

The waiting.
The anticipation.
And then suddenly the baby you were talking about at your maternity session is finally here in your arms.

As much as I love being part of every stage of this journey for my clients, I can’t lie… getting to see the way they loved on both their sweet girl and each other during their newborn session was my favorite part of documenting their story so far. The love was radiating through the room 💗

Honestly, that’s one of the biggest reasons I love in-home sessions so much. There’s just something so special about documenting your family in the comfort of your own space during such a meaningful season of life.

Moments like these are exactly why I created our Baby’s First Year Collections. Because the first year flies by faster than anyone expects, and there’s something so special about being able to look back and watch the full story unfold from maternity, to newborn, to all the milestones in between.

We currently offer three Baby’s First Year Collections starting at $575, with payment plans available to make documenting these moments a little easier for growing families 🤍

These two were an absolute blast to shoot with, and getting to capture this season of life while also planning their wedding day makes it even sweeter. I can’t wait to capture their love again in November 🤍

Okay wait… because these might officially need to happen🥹✨

So last week we decided to run a little test run for Barnyard Date Nights at the farm because when we originally announced them earlier this year, we realized people probably just needed to SEE the vision first.

And honestly… I’m obsessed.

The glowing trailer lights, the hay bales, the blankets, the quiet little moments, the laughter… it all felt so simple and cozy in the best way.

I also have to say how much I LOVE shooting at AG Farms. There are seriously so many different things to create in one space and they’re always down for all of my crazy ideas. It actually makes sessions feel like an experience instead of just showing up for photos.

And fun fact… the farm owners are actually the ones in these photos which just proves how much they are down all my ideas! 🤎

I also love that these don’t just work for couples. They’d be SO cute for little families too.

If you’d book something like this, drop a 🤎 and we’ll send you the link when booking opens 👀

There’s something so special about a small room full of people you love watching you marry your person🤍

Before officially moving out of state together, these two chose to keep things simple with an intimate courthouse wedding surrounded by the people who mattered most.

The sweetest little details, emotional moments, happy tears, tiny hands holding bouquets, and that “WE JUST GOT MARRIED” excitement filled the entire day.

We’re so thankful to have been a part of such a special day, and you knew there was no chance I was going to bed tonight without sharing a few sneak peeks from today 🥹

Because honestly… there’s nothing better than that ‘just married’ feeling 🤍

Huge congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Rader!

365 days until we get to celebrate you two all over again & we’re already counting down 🥰

The moments during a wedding day when everything else fades into the background for a second 🤍

The timelines, the nerves, the guests, the chaos… all gone.

Just them.

Throwing it back to one of my all time favorite wedding moments as we pack the bags for another wedding day today 🥰

Getting to document moments like this will never get old 😭

Alex planned this engagement PERFECTLY 🤍

The location was stunning. He checked every box. Her boys, her mom, a photographer, every little detail. What Erica thought was just a family session quickly turned into one of the sweetest surprise engagements.

Then I checked the radar the day before.

Storms from 4–6 PM. The EXACT time we had booked at the gardens 😭

We couldn’t really pivot the plan, so I immediately started throwing together backup ideas just in case. One thing about surprise proposals? You always need a backup plan ready 😂

I headed out the next day hoping for the best, and somehow, the second I pulled into the location, the rain completely stopped… and didn’t start again until I was driving away.

Honestly, it felt so meant to be 🤍

I knew Alex’s nerves officially kicked in once we got to the proposal spot and their son suddenly announced he had to go potty 😂 Definitely not part of the original plan, but honestly I think it made the moment even sweeter.

While we waited, I snuck away with mama and her newborn for a few sweet little photos together, which honestly became some of my favorite moments from the whole session.

And once it was finally time, I knew Alex was READY when he went just a little before my cue 😂 But honestly? It worked out perfectly and gave me some of my favorite angles from the proposal.

The sweetest part though? Watching their boys be part of it all. The hugs, the excitement over the ring, the little moments in between… it honestly felt less like a proposal shoot and more like getting to witness one of the biggest moments in their family story.

These sessions seriously never get old to me & I can’t wait to share more ✨💍

A little sneak peek from last week’s surprise engagement before we share more from this session tonight 🤍

Weekends full of love stories and weekdays full of newborn snuggles. This season has been so beautifully busy lately and I truly wouldn’t trade it for anything!

This weekend alone we have a courthouse wedding, a wedding meetups, mini sessions, and an engagement session for one of our 2026 wedding couples and I’m so excited for every second of it.

In between all of that has been gallery deliveries, editing late into the night, tiny baby yawns, growing families, and getting to document so many different chapters of life for the sweetest people.

We also have a few last minute June full session openings available! If you’ve been dreaming of seeing us this month, this is the perfect time to book 🤍

As we continue moving deeper into busy season, please continue allowing up to 48 hours for responses to messages, emails, and inquiries while balancing sessions, editing, scheduling, and meetings throughout the week. With us now taking weekday sessions too, some weeks are reaching 15+ sessions!

Thank you all for keeping us so busy this season and continuing to trust me with your memories ✨

Apparently Elfie heard we were setting up for barnyard date night minis and decided he needed his own little photo shoot first 🤣 If you’ve met him, you know he’s the not so barn cat at the farm & the SWEETEST boy!

I was just taking some setup photos before we started, and he walked right in like he was on the payroll.

he said make sure to come back and check these out… but for now, you can enjoy a little sneak peek of the background from his solo session 😚

honestly though… these date night minis at AG Farms are turning out SO cute already and I can’t wait to share more 🖤
