Since this comes up in comments often when I share this project: Yes, my husband cut through a stud. No, the wall is not load bearing. Yes, he reinforced it. No, my intention is not to inspire others to cut holes in their walls. Yes, you should be careful if you do decide to cut a hole in your wall. No, you should not do this in a load-bearing wall or where there is electric wiring or plumbing. And yes, for us it was worth it. 🥹❤️

Our Mouse House has a mouse to represent each member of our family. But it had one extra: A year ago, I put a tiny white cat into the Mouse House for the mouse family. Last week, a real white cat found our family and adopted us. 🥹❤️
