Gavin Elliott of the Des Moines Oak Leafs beats Omaha defenseman Richard Li in a race to find the empty net and give the Leafs a 4-2 win in their Midwest High School Hockey League varsity game. Elliott's goal, his third of the game, popped the bottle and continued his red-hot scoring streak. He now has 15 goals and 18 assists in his last 11 games, all won by the Leafs, who have now won 19 of their last 20.
