There’s something extra special about photographing an Arizona family all the way up in the Tetons. 🤎

I connected with this sweet family before heading north, and getting to photograph them with those mountains behind us felt like the perfect little glimpse of what I hope next summer holds.

I’m so excited to be spending more time photographing families in Teton Valley + Jackson Hole next summer — warm, connected, playful sessions with some of the most beautiful scenery in the West.

Arizona will always be home, but I have a feeling the Tetons are going to become a pretty special part of Saguaro & Spruce, too. 🏔️

What I’d Buy for Family Photos: Target Edition 🎯

Family photos coming up this fall? I did a Target run and pulled some of my favorite outfit options for mom, kids, and dad. 🤎

Brown, cream, and blue seem to be everywhere this season, and they make such an easy, timeless palette for family photos.

A little styling tip while you shop: look for texture! Silky fabrics, soft sweaters, denim, knits, and other textured pieces add so much dimension in photos. Simple, classic patterns can work beautifully too — especially when the rest of the family is kept fairly neutral.
