It is a true privilege to serve on the Board of Directors for HD South. Our recent gala in the Severson Center ( Adelaida Velasco Severson ) was a testament to the vibrant culture and history we strive to preserve and celebrate every day.
I serve on the board because I care about the preservation of our past and the potency of the possibilities for our future in the realms of art, culture, and community building. I believe HD SOUTH - Home of the Gilbert Historical Museum is a beacon for our community, offering a host of opportunities for the East Valley to gather, learn, grow, and thrive - together.
I was proud to support the evening as the appetizer sponsor and as the provider of a couple silent auction prizes. Seeing the room filled with supporters, partners, and friends reminded me of the collective power of our community when we invest in these shared pillars.
Success like this doesn't happen without hard work. I want to recognize our President and CEO, Denise Watson Lopez for her leadership. Her vision and dedication are the driving forces behind HD South’s growth and continued excellence.
