M + T intimate elopement on the rim at sunset 🕊️🌲✨🌅

this was such a special day. it was POURING. all day. all the way up, as we were waiting, and the entire way down. but it stopped just for their ceremony + the photos after. as we were taking photos, we noticed that their initials had been written on the rock (not by us I swear🤣), and immediately after that the nicest women approached us with a gift. they gave both M + T a handmade turquoise bracelet, they explained what the beads meant and the meaning behind why they wore them. she gifted each of them one and wished good things + blessings to them & their marriage. we snuck out and got some beautiful sunset photos after. it was such an intimate beautiful day. eloping in the mountains with just you + your partner >>>>>>

the Davis’ 🥂🌲💫🕊️

the most beautiful day, in the most beautiful place. Christopher Creek is where I spent a very large part of my childhood, and a place I hold near and dear to my heart. this was the first wedding I’ve shot there, & I’ll cherish it forever. this day was pure magic, cannot thank Di + Harley for trusting me and allowing me to capture + observe their perfect day. congratulations again you two 🖤

The Pfeil’s ceremony + small details/tidbits of their day 🕊️🌿🖤

all weddings are special to me, but this one was truly one of the most special days I’ve been trusted with. Regan and I grew up together, she lived across the street, she was the youngest out of our little crew. I honestly don’t remember a life without Regan or her family in it. our families are pretty integrated, “family friend” doesn’t quite fit. our families have been together through the happiest moments, and life’s most difficult moments. I’ve photographed a lot of things for Regan. her high school graduation, college graduation, their engagement photos, but, to be there photographing wedding day was so surreal. I had to check my emotions more than usual, this is like a little sister getting married and *i* am in charge of making sure those memories are preserved perfectly. I was really nervous. but, the day was beautiful. Regan was beautiful, the details; everything was perfect. and I feel so honored to have captured it. growing up, Regan’s mom always had these gallery walls throughout their home filled with childhood memories and family events and such. I always loved looking at all the photos. knowing that these photos will now be hanging now only on Jodi’s gallery walls, but throughout Regan and Tristyn’s new home as they begin their lives together is such a cool feeling. congratulations to you both, and thank you again for trusting me 🖤
