I honestly don’t know if it gets much better than this.

The light, the horses, the connection, and those golden sunset skies… these are the images I was dreaming of when I put photographing horses on my bucket list this year.

There’s something so special about capturing a girl with her horse. It’s more than a beautiful portrait. It’s a little piece of her story, a reflection of who she is and the things she loves in this season of life.

Piper, I hope these are the images you look back on years from now and remember exactly how it felt to be right here, right now. 🤎 Can’t wait to see your bright future unfold… have the best senior year!!!!! 🫶🏼🙏🏼🫶🏼

Cowboys, tractors, a little trick roping, and life on the ranch.

There’s something about capturing a family doing what they love, right where life happens. From Cash showing off his roping skills to Oliver on his tractor, and a few moments with Mom and Dad in between, this part of their session was all about the little pieces that make their family uniquely theirs.

These are the memories I hope they look back on years from now and smile about. The things that might feel like just another day on the ranch right now, but will mean so much more with time.

Some sessions just hit differently. It doesn’t get much better than this. 🤎

Photographing horses has been on my bucket list this year, They definitely added a whole new level of challenge, but WOW… the magic they brought to these images was worth every bit of it!

I first photographed this family five years ago, and what an honor it is to step back in front of my camera and capture them again. Watching families grow, change, and expand is one of the greatest privileges of what I do. And this time, their family included a few pretty incredible four-legged members, too..

This is just the beginning…I cannot wait to share more!!

Makaysa and her two beautiful girls were absolutely adorable together. The dresses were incredible, the cowboy boots were the perfect touch, and these three made my job pretty. So thankful I got to capture these moments in the Black Hills🫶🏼

I loved watching the three of them wander down the dock, check out the ducks, sneak in some cuddles and just enjoy being together.
