This season has been WILD CRAZY busy 😵‍💫 A lot of long days, late late night editing, more than 4 cups of coffee a day, but all 100% worth it.

Most days I can’t believe I get to capture my clients on one of the most important days of their lives. A dream come true! Along with that - I’ve grown close and created some badass relationships with other photographers in this industry that’ll last a lifetime. 💜

Back in the day, when I was in college at - I had absolutely no idea what I would end up doing. I went from degree to degree within the business school, trying to find something that sparked joy and I settled in marketing because it was “kinda creative” and did photo on the side to pay for books 😂

This little business has grown beyond my wildest dreams and I never expected to be my own boss and live my life pursuing my happiness.

I’m so thankful. For the journey, for the highs and lows, for the families and couples that have poured into me and made me into the wedding photographer and entrepreneur that I am today. It’s been a LOOOONG f**kin’ road, and it was worth every moment. 🥰

After 6 years in Tennessee, it’s time to say “See Ya Later” ✌🏻 We are moving back to Arizona!!! 📦

I’m in my feels about the whole move, as we just signed the lease papers for a new home in Gilbert, AZ - so I wanted to share a little bit about my journey since moving to Nashville in 2019.

My husband and I initially moved for a job offer I had for a marketing position (my “big kid job”) 2 months after we got married - and I never would have thought my life would change so much because of it. A worldwide pandemic, multiple layoffs (from said “big kid jobs”) and 6 years of friendship and adventure. I’ve photographed over 200 weddings all over the state of Tennessee, and adventured to Costa Rica & Punta Cana for weddings. To be a part of so many stories, and capture the moments that mean the most to folks - is immeasurable, and I’m beyond grateful.

I’m so sad to leave such an incredible community of creatives here, but I’m excited for the next adventure. This isn’t goodbye forever, Nashville. 🤠📸

Our family and friends are all over the moon for us, and as they’ve gotten word first, I figured it was time to pass the news to my clients and future couples. Weddings book SO FAR OUT, so I’m hoping to move everything (for the most part) to Arizona for the 2026 season. I’ll be booking Weddings & Sessions IN TENNESSEE STILL, so don’t write me off completely in the Wedding World here in Nashville

I’m feeling all the emotions writing this post, but I’m mostly feeling so humbled and grateful for everything I’ve accomplished while here. Mikaela Rose Photography has bloomed so much in my time in TN, and I look forward to all the growth and adventure, and love stories I get to capture in Arizona, and beyond. 💕

Looking back at January, it feels like a blur - but a beautiful magical dreamy incredible blur. 🥹

I will never be able to put into words the gratitude I have for the opportunity to travel to Costa Rica to capture + ’s wedding!

Sooooo so many tears and an abundance of love and so much laughter. Pure joy. 🥹🥰 It was a weekend that has changed me for the better, and will live rent free in my heart forever. 💚

2024 has been quite a rollercoaster year… Looking back, I’m so grateful for each and every client and friend who has entrusted their photos to me, and encouraged me thru some tough spots. My business wouldn’t be where it is today without the support of those around me. It’s always such an honor to capture these moments and to have worked with over 40 couples this year, traveled to multiple states, and have some exciting international travels booked for 2025 - I’m just so very very humbled and grateful. 🥰
