For the last several years, one of the questions I've been asked most often is, "Do you have senior packages?"

My answer has always been... not really.

I've always photographed seniors using my regular portrait packages because, honestly, I never thought much about creating something different. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized seniors aren't just another portrait session. This is such a unique season of life, and they deserve an experience that's just as unique.

So I did something a little different—I asked seniors what they wanted.

The answers surprised me a little, but they also made perfect sense.

They wanted photos with the friends they've spent the last four years laughing with, surviving exams with, and making memories alongside. They wanted photos that celebrate what's next, whether that's wearing their college sweatshirt, trade school gear, military uniform, or something that represents the next chapter of their lives.

As I listened, I kept thinking, "Why isn't this already part of a senior session?"

So... I fixed that.

I'm excited to introduce The Senior Send-Off Experience—a package created specifically with seniors in mind.

The best part? The more friends who book together, the better it gets! Everyone receives additional images, and everyone saves money. It's the perfect way to celebrate friendships before everyone heads off in different directions.

Senior year goes by in the blink of an eye. Before you know it, Friday night football games, spirit weeks, choir concerts, theater productions, marching band competitions, and walking the halls together become memories. These photos aren't just about celebrating graduation—they're about celebrating the friendships, accomplishments, and excitement of everything that's still to come.

I can't wait to photograph the Class of 2027 and help tell the story of this incredible milestone. Let's make your senior year unforgettable! Email me at [email protected] to book your Senior Send-Off Experience.

Yesterday was the first time I had the honor of photographing a Hindu engagement ceremony, and it was such a beautiful experience.

If you're unfamiliar with this tradition, a Hindu engagement ceremony is more than an announcement of a couple's engagement—it is a celebration of two families coming together and the beginning of a new chapter.

I loved learning about the different customs and the meaning behind them, especially the traditions that symbolize hope and blessings for the couple. One that really stood out to me was the lighting of a candle for Lord Ganesha, which represents the removal of obstacles and the hope that the couple's new journey together will begin with a clear path ahead. I don't think anyone could argue with that wonderful sentiment!

I also enjoyed witnessing the exchange of sweets and gifts, the heartfelt blessings from family and friends, and the celebratory toast. Every part of the ceremony reflected joy, positivity, and the love and support surrounding Alka and Jake as they embark on this new adventure together.

We were also fortunate to have beautiful, cooperative weather, giving us gorgeous light throughout the day. Not to mention the amazing neighbors who held off on mowing their lawns during the ceremony. 😉 It's the little acts of kindness that often go unnoticed but make a big difference.

Congratulations, Alka and Jake! Thank you for allowing me to be part of such a meaningful celebration and for sharing your traditions with me. I'm so excited for everything the future has in store for you both!

This is a larger-than-usual sneak peek, but I know Grandma, Grandpa, and his adoring auntie are down in Florida, probably counting down the days until they can meet this sweet little guy!

He happens to weigh the same as my Annie did when she was born, and every time I get to hold a baby that size, it takes me right back to those newborn days.

This little man is already surrounded by so much love. His two energetic big sisters clearly adore him, and watching them interact with him was absolutely precious. There is no doubt he'll always have someone looking out for him (whether he wants them to or not!).

I'm especially excited that this family finally got their little boy. He's going to bring a whole new kind of adventure to the household—and a nice change from the girls, especially when those teenage years roll around. You're just going to have to trust me on that one. 😉

This sweet little bundle is already a few months old, but that didn't stop us from capturing some precious memories! While newborn sessions are always special, there is something equally magical about photographing babies as their little personalities begin to shine through.

Welcome to the world, sweet girl—I could see that you are already so loved!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Maren!

Technically, this little one turned two yesterday, but today is the big party day! I still remember photographing her first birthday session—she was sooooo shy. Not this year!

She was a mover and a shaker, just like most of the two-year-olds I photograph, and I loved every minute of it. Her big personality really shined through during our session, and it was so much fun capturing all of her energy and expressions.

She is absolutely adorable, and I hope her birthday bash is filled with lots of fun, laughter, and sweet memories. Happy Birthday, Maren!

Working with three-year-olds is always an adventure—especially when they've recently been promoted to the prestigious position of Big Sibling.

If there's one thing I've learned, it's this: whatever I want them to do, they will almost certainly want to do the exact opposite. Every. Single. Time.

Over the years, I've tried it all—begging, negotiating, bribing, reverse psychology, interpretive dance (okay, maybe not that one). But honestly? The harder we push, the more determined they become. They know they have the power, and they're not afraid to use it.

So these days, I take a different approach: I let them run the show for a bit.

Surprisingly, that usually takes all the fun out of the standoff. Once they're feeling heard and in charge, we can start collaborating on prop ideas, poses, and all the little details that make a session fun. A few minutes of give-and-take almost always gets us where we need to go—without the stress, tears, or dramatic toddler negotiations.

My photography philosophy with three-year-olds? Simple: Let them.

And judging by how well it works, I think Mel Robbins would approve. ;)
