Kaylee | Class of 2027 Featuring Vadar

This senior is absolutely beautiful and such a natural in front of the camera that she made my job pretty easy! We also lucked out with the most beautiful summer evening—perfect weather, gorgeous light, and the perfect setting.

And then there was Vadar. He wasn't too bad himself. (Note to self: Maybe don't try to pick up small dogs who don't know you. 😆)

Next year, Kaylee plans to follow in her mom's footsteps and head to ISU to study elementary education! I have a feeling she's going to make a pretty amazing teacher.

Kaylee, you were so much fun to photograph, and I can't wait to see what your senior year brings!

This little guy is approximately 6 pounds of pure perfection, and I don't think you'll hear any arguments from his parents!

One of my favorite little features is his adorable “John Travolta” chin. He is seriously cute, incredibly easy to soothe, and was such a dream to photograph.

Congratulations on your sweet little guy! He is absolutely adorable!

Senior session season is in full swing, and this senior is especially special to me.

I’ve known this girl since she was just a little baby (and I use the word little facetiously because she was actually a rather large baby—over 9 pounds!). She is also my daughter Annie’s best friend, so I’ve had the absolute privilege of watching her grow and develop into the bright, ambitious, and amazing young woman she is today.

Over the years, I’ve gotten to experience her in so many different ways. I’ve watched her grow up, I had the privilege of teaching her ELA in 7th grade (and we had SO much fun!), and I even got to run a Midnight Mile with her. So many fun memories!

Now, I’m incredibly excited to document her senior year through portraits in every season. But as excited as I am to capture this special year, I’m even more excited to see where life takes her.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that whatever she chooses to do, she is going to do something AMAZING. And knowing her love of math and science, I have a feeling it will probably involve medicine in some way!

Watching the kids I’ve known for years become incredible young adults is one of my favorite parts of being a photographer. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this beautiful girl!

There is something incredibly special about watching a family grow through the years.

From their engagement and wedding day to newborn and milestone sessions with their daughter, it has been such an honor to document so many of this family's important milestones. Now, I had the joy of meeting the newest member of their family, and Baby E is absolutely precious! He reminds me so much of his big sister, and it was so sweet seeing them together.

Being trusted to capture these milestones—from one chapter of life to the next—is one of the coolest aspects of being a photographer. I am excited to see this little grow through the years! Congratulations!

Wishing the YoRussell family a beautiful day as they celebrate Jack and his new bride! I hope the rain lets up so you can enjoy all the beautiful grounds your venue has to offer. But if it doesn't, don't let it steal a single moment of your joy. The most important part of today is celebrating your love, surrounded by the family and friends who are there to share this special day with you. There are few things more special than getting to watch a family's story unfold. From their engagement, to their wedding day, to welcoming their babies into the world, it has been such an honor to capture so many milestones for this sweet family.

I was so excited to meet this sweet little guy. Walking back into Sherman Hospital brought back so many memories of the days when I welcomed my own babies there. It's amazing how a place can instantly take you back.

I can't wait to see this little one again in my studio for his newborn session. I'm especially looking forward to watching his proud big sister love on him and capture the beautiful bond they're just beginning to build. Congratulations to this sweet family on their new baby boy!
