​It feels like yesterday we were doing her kindergarten photo shoot. She had that sweet smile... right under a massive goose egg on her forehead because she managed to hit herself with a metal baseball bat directly in the middle of the forehead a few weeks before and had a huge bruise.
​Fast forward a decade, and she is so much more than just beautiful. She’s turned into this stunning, incredibly smart, artistic, and talented 15-year-old getting ready for her sophomore year. Watching her grow up and become who she is today has been the absolute best part of the last ten years—the bumps look a lot different these days.
I am so grateful to be documenting my child's growth through photography for the past 12 years.🌼 ❤️📸

This session with a wonderful family of five was full of real, unfiltered life—from perfect smiles by the lake to a little toddler drama on a tree stump. Let's introduce myself properly! 👋📸

I am Sommer Chase!

Ever since I was 18 years old, I’ve basically had a camera attached to my hand. I always had that dream of being a photographer, but it officially became reality back in 2014 when my husband surprised me with a camera for our anniversary. Now, I’m celebrating over 12 years of capturing milestones for amazing people.
When I don't have a camera in front of my face, I’m living my favorite roles: being a stay-at-home mom to our two beautiful daughters and a coal miner's wife. My husband and I were high school sweethearts and have been together for 21 years, so family is my entire world.
Knowing how much those fleeting stages mean to a mom, I built my entire business on the foundation of affordable photography. I truly believe everyone deserves high-quality, beautiful photos of their lives.
Stylistically, I am all about the real and the raw. I work strictly with natural lighting to capture families, couples, and newborns in their truest elements.

Looking back at these years, it’s wild to see the proof of how much growth and evolution has happened over my 12 years behind the lens.
