Yeah. I’m obsessed with this one.
I love when couples let me photograph them doing things that actually feel like them instead of trying to make their session look like everyone else’s.
Give me the boots. Give me the hats. Give me the tall grass. Give me the weird little things you guys do together.
That’s the stuff I want to photograph.

I have been so excited to share these.
I loved every bit of being their photographer. Truly.
Their wedding day was just… precious. 🥹
There was so much love packed into this day. Their families, their friends, the kids running around, the tears, the laughter, the dancing… all of it.
And I loved getting to be there for it.
One of my favorite things about weddings is that there are SO many things happening at once. While everyone is focused on what’s happening in front of them, there’s usually something sweet happening off to the side too.
And I get to notice it.
Like watching a dad dance with his daughter. Seeing a mama get emotional.
Catching the little looks between Claire and Matthew.
Watching their people celebrate them.
And then there are the in-between moments that I don’t think you can really plan for.
Those are some of my favorites.
Claire and Matthew, thank you for letting me be part of such a special day. I genuinely loved being there with you two and your families. 🤍

I don’t actually want your family to behave perfectly during your session.

I want you to have fun.

I want the kids to laugh.
I want someone to make a ridiculous face.
I want you to forget I’m even holding a camera for a minute.

Because when you look back at these photos years from now, I don’t just want you to think,

“Wow, we looked good.”

I want you to think,

“Oh my gosh. I remember this.”🤎

And if your immediate thought is, “Okay but you haven’t met my children…” 😂

GOOD.

Those are my favorite families to photograph.
