Saying an official goodbye to spring feels so crazy 🤪
I swear I get a little emotional every year. Spring sessions have my whole heart… the green fields, wildflowers, golden evenings, muddy kid feet. It always goes by too fast.

This is Holly from La Bella Vita Farms. If you ever spot her at a farmers market around Loomis, do yourself a favor and grab some flowers and homemade treats. The flowers are beautiful, the goodies are dangerous in the best possible way, and she’s just the sweetest human. 🌸

Now… summer here we come ☀️

You think this is peak busy for your crew......

But I hate to tell you
It might not end.
The schedules just change.
The logistics get more crazier.
The coordination gets harder.

And one day…
They’re off at college,
and getting everyone in one place
feels nearly impossible.

This right now?
This is actually one of the easier seasons to make portraits happen.
Even if it feels messy.
Even if it feels like a lot.
Because right now… your people are still under your roof.

Document this season before these become the people you only see on holidays.

The sweetest little space where imagination and movement get to exist together. Every teacher has been so warm and wonderful, and the owner Miss Erin is truly a gem. ✨

I may have been a little tardy on your sixth birthday portraits, but I’ll spend the rest of my life making sure you never feel that middle-child pinch.

These little garage studio birthday sessions are quickly becoming one of my favorite things. Tiny time capsules of exactly who they are right now. The goofy faces. The self-chosen outfits. The missing front teeth. The “cool guy” poses. All of it.

And let me tell you something: do not underestimate the power of letting your kid fully dress themselves for a solo portrait session. Davis planned this entire look down to the boots and the cuff in his jeans. 🥹🫶

The funniest part is he asks for these sessions weekly. A tiny photographer’s child after my own heart. 😂
