It was a bit of a slow start for the baseball team on Thursday in their home opener against William Chrisman. Despite being down 0-3 early on, the Northmen rallied and took a commanding lead that carried them through the end of the game. Congrats on the win!

The team faced Blue Springs South on Saturday in the MSHSAA Class 6 State Quarterfinals. The Northmen overcame multiple doubt digit deficits and tied up the game with 0.8 seconds left in regulation. At the end of overtime, the Northmen came up 1 point short which put an end to their post season run.

A shout out to the Oakies for another great season. Thank you for all the wonderful memories this year.

Any time takes on @ it's going to be a great game and Friday night did not disappoint. It was an electric atmosphere in a packed field house. The game was physical and the lead was contested throughout the game. While it was close all night, the Northmen took the lead in the final minutes and closed out the evening with a 69-67 victory.

The@northmen_ophs soccer team wrapped up their regular season with an inner-district rivalry match against the . Earlier this year Oak Park defeated NKC on their own pitch for the first time in nearly a decade. While Oak Park had successfully defended their home field since 2019, the Hornets came in looking to return the favor and spoil the Northmen’s senior night.

In the first half, Oak Park took the lead when a free kick deflected off a Hornets defender and found the back of the net. The rest of the match was tightly contested, with both teams generating several strong scoring chances. In the end, the Northmen held on for a 1–0 victory.

On Saturday the Soccer team capped off the Northmen Classic taking on Raytown. It was not looking like the three day tourney would end on a high note as OP went down 0-2 in the first half. Undeterred, the Northmen came out strong in the second half and capitalized on several opportunities as well as a PK to score 3 unanswered goals. The Northmen held their lead through the end of the match and secured a 3-2 victory. Congrats on the win!
