The Columbia Gorge fires in Oregon now cover almost 35,600 acres and the blaze is only 11% contained. The Gorge is one of the most beautiful places in the world, with 90 gorgeous waterfalls the Columbia River Gorge is considered to have the highest concentration of waterfalls in the entire country!

Multnomah falls is the queen of all the falls, here's a short drone clip I took last fall after a lot of rain, there were 3 falls showing!

Watch a drone view of Mother Nature and all her magnificence as she spews ash clouds out of Mt. Sinabung in North Sumatra, Indonesia.

For 4 days I "chased" the volcano via motor bike, capturing all views from the north, south, east and west. Using my drone I was able to help locals evacuated see if their homes were still intact or demolished and communicate with a volcano watcher here in the PNW who'd been monitoring it's activity.

It was one of the most humbling experiences to stand so close to the base and with my head tilted up watch such power and force erupt, to huddle uncover with locals as large ash rain clouds passed over, to use my drone to help bring comfort or closure to evacuees who'd lost their homes and to meet such remarkable local photographers and experience this with them.

And for my own glory to know I was the first person in the world to capture an erupting
volcano (as far as I know).

The music is a tradition the Karo tribe which occupies this area.
