Some love stories feel like they belong in a fairytale.

Carlos chose the Secret Garden on Mackinac Island, surrounded by blooms at their absolute peak, to ask Lila the easiest question of his life. Hidden among winding paths and vibrant flowers, she said yes.

There is something so special about documenting moments that can never be recreated. The anticipation, the surprise, the tears, and the joy of the first “yes” to forever.

Carlos & Lila, thank you for trusting me to preserve the beginning of this beautiful chapter. What an unforgettable afternoon in one of Michigan’s most magical places.

We packed up our vehicle and headed to Maine for a week. Doing an engagement session there was such a dream, but I was also able to play around with my drone and captured this stunning secluded Lighthouse on Mark Island. The only thing that could have made these better would have been a whale jumping out of the Atlantic. I am in aw of this beautiful state.

Brooklynn Class of 2027 🤍

How did we get here? It feels like just yesterday I was walking you into preschool with your little Hello Kitty backpack, wondering how the years could possibly pass so quickly. Now here we are taking your senior photos, and I can’t quite believe how fast time has flown. Watching you grow into such a beautiful, kind, strong, and compassionate young woman has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Every year has been a gift, and I couldn’t be more proud of the person you’re becoming.

These aren’t just senior photos to me. They’re a reminder of every laugh, every hug, every milestone, and every prayer I’ve prayed over your life. Being your mom will always be my greatest blessing, and getting to be the one behind the camera for this moment is something I’ll treasure forever. I love you more than words could ever say, and I’ll always see that sweet little girl with the Hello Kitty backpack, even as you step so beautifully into this next chapter. 🤍
