Aurora borealis sighting in CT…was able to get one good shot before the clouds came in. The color was strong enough to come through the clouds and even was visible to the naked eye!

A beautiful weekend allowed for a lot of hummingbird activity- our rose of Sharon are in full bloom and the hummingbirds are loving it. Always fun to watch these little birds.

I had hoped to see the triple conjunction of the moon, Venus, and Saturn…or the “smiley face in the sky”…but clouds and the faintness of Saturn made that a bit difficult. First picture is the moon and Venus…a winking smiley maybe? The rest are of the beautiful sunrise…definitely worth getting up for!
