And then THIS happened.

Getting to photograph movement like this is exactly why I love creating. There’s something about dance in an unexpected setting that just hits different, and watching her turn the street into her own personal stage was INSANE.

I need more dancers. More movement. More amazing locations. More of THIS. 👏🏻📸

I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect when I posted about doing photos at the Vennel Viewpoint and asking if anyone would be interested while I was visiting, but you guys have been SO lovely and welcoming. Every person I’ve had the chance to photograph has made this experience even more special. 🫶🏻

Scotland… I think I’m officially obsessed. Getting to work with people here, create something beautiful, and explore this incredible place at the same time feels like an absolute dream. ✨

Story Time:

We were walking around in east Princes Street Garden when I couldn’t help but notice this gorgeous pregnant lady and her husband beaming while taking photos of her with his phone. One after the other he was just snapping away while she was beaming back at him. Both of them were glowing looking at each other, and having the best time together in that moment.

I had mentioned that it would be a really cute shot of them together since they were both dressed up and continued to walk away, Alexus must’ve seen the look on my face because she said ‘you need to go at least offer to take their picture for them, you’ll regret it if you don’t!’

All week long people have seen me with a camera and asked me to take photos of them, sometimes I even offered to take photos of them. But this couple just REALLY took me away with how they were together. Not for clout. Not to boast. But reallllly just loving the moment together, and I genuinely didn’t want to disturb that moment for them.

And you know what? I’m glad I did. They were so thankful that I offered and honestly I did a mini shoot with them right there with his phone. They said thank you and as I was walking away I could hear her gushing over the photos ‘oh my god, these are perfect. I can’t believe these! They’re amazing. I love them!! Look at this one, look at that one!’

That’s the whole reason I do what I do. The entire reason. Nothing more. Nothing less. People deserve the moment. They deserve the photos.

I’m forever thankful for Alexus catching this moment because it’s honestly been one of the highlights of this trip for me. Not the places, the mountains or any of the cool things I’ve seen or done so far. It’s the people. Tourists and all (myself included 😉) that make Edinburgh, and Scotland in general such a melting pot of goodness. A place truly worth being part of.

A tiny photoshoot around St. Giles in one of the most beautiful cities, with minel who was nothing short of enchanting! The kind of session where you wander, laugh, find pretty little corners, and somehow end up creating magic without even trying. 🖤

When you moved away… but your people never stopped feeling like home. 🥹🫶🏻

I have LOVED being back in Michigan these past few days. Seeing familiar faces, familiar places, and getting to work with people I’ve loved photographing for years has been such a full-circle feeling.

My Michigan clients hold a VERY special place in my heart. You helped me build something I genuinely didn’t know I could build. You watched me grow, helped me become a better person and a better photographer, and stuck with me through every season- even the ones where I had absolutely no idea what I was doing or where I was headed.

You all became so much more than clients, you became part of my story!

And honestly? Getting to come back and photograph you again feels like coming home.

I’ll be back in just a few days, and I cannot WAIT to see the rest of my Michigan people! 🥹

If you’ve ever stepped in front of my camera, just know… I’m forever grateful you did 🫶🏻

No but REALLY… I’m always dreaming of tall grass, open fields, golden light, and the kind of photos that feel like a whole damn movie. 🌾✨

And if you’re dreaming of that too… we should probably be working together. 🫶🏻

I’ll be putting together a few couples model calls for all the dreamy, cinematic, romantic goodness I’ve been itching to create. Think open fields, movement, connection, pretty outfits, a little bit of magic, and photos you’ll want to stare at forever. 💕

BUT- I’m looking for something a little more intentional than a one-time model call! Ideally, I’d love to find 2–3 couples who are comfortable working with me continuously for creative photography projects throughout the year.
