The newborn stage is brief in a way that is hard to understand until it is gone.

The curled-up poses, tiny fingers, soft cheeks, sleepy expressions, and the way they fit perfectly in your arms change almost immediately. Newborn photography preserves those details before they become a memory.

There is only one chance to photograph your baby at this stage. Within a few weeks, they are more alert, more stretched out, and already changing into the next version of themselves.

The best time to reserve your newborn session is before baby arrives.

At Jamie Englert Photography, I reserve your due date first and then adjust the actual session date after your baby is born. That way, we can plan around your baby’s arrival, your recovery, and how your family is doing.

I only take a limited number of newborn sessions each month so every family receives a calm, personalized experience.
