Sneak peak of my latest shoot for my new friends Shut My Mouth Bakery! This was such a fun job! We met at our local farmers market and they are just great! I know I haven't taken on new clients for a long time. This shoot made me remember what I love about my business and that's helping other small businesses succeed. First we will chat and make sure we are a good fit over our 15 minute discovery call. After the signing of the contracts and deposit I will send you a quick questionnaire so I can be prepared for our creative call. During our creative call we will go over the timeline and the styling details. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Next you can relax as I create you a mood board and shot list for every picture. When those two things are approved by you, and products are received by me, I will begin the shoot. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I was doing a little research this weekend and I read that 22% of returns occur because the product looks different in person. I know that I have returned some pretty ridiculous items that looked nothing like the picture. We might all think the memes are funny "ordered this, got that" but it isn't funny when it happens to you. What a waste of time and money if they don't have a good return policy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Meet Bowie! Yes she has one half blue eye and one brown eye! Her best friend is a cat named Sterling Archer. They keep me company all day while I'm working. About a year ago I decided I wanted to start Shelby McQueen Photography LLC and make it my full time job. At the time it seemed impossible, doomed to always just be a side hustle photographer. One year later I still work 2 days at a hospital and all 7 on my business. I have a journey ahead of me, but well on my way to my dream. Just goes to show that having the right mindset and attitude can literally change your life. This is a reminder to everyone that you are capable of great things, and you too can one day work with your fur babies.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
