The beauty of photography is that I capture what I see when the subject has felt and lived a life of “not being good enough, pretty enough, skinny enough”. Some of my clients have said “I hate my pictures being taken because I am not photogenic or I look old!” I’m not here to make you beautiful…I’m here to capture the beauty you fail to see in yourself. So breathe, relax and let me show you what other people see! If we saw ourselves the way other people saw us …. We would be a lot more kind and passionate to ourselves.

I love to travel! I photograph high school seniors, families, and dabble in landscapes and have been eluded by the wildlife I stalk! :) I am by no means an Oscar Winning photographer but the love I have for photography makes me an Oscar Winner in more ways than any one person could compare! "The best compliment to a photographer, is to book them!" I have many references and I am so blessed to be a thought in someone's mind when it comes to capturing the precious moments in people's lives.

I have been taking photos for about 22 years and I will never know everything there is to know as the world has gone digital and the equipment and technology advance every single day. I do not like to heavily edit my photos as that is NOT how the photo was taken and to edit the lighting and add special effects to an image is deceiving in a way. I love the Raw, Unedited photos that show the character in the image. I enjoy working with people who are willing to sit through the weather, climb through the trees and over fences to get THE SHOT!

Life is boring if you don’t move out of your comfort zone. Do something that challenges you to grow, to shine and be better than you were yesterday! I am one of those people that love to teach others how to take great shots and DO NOT get offended when someone asks for advice. So I say to all of those wonderful photographers out there...If someone comes to you and asks for help / advice....share your knowledge. You already have the ability to surpass others that compete in this field and you should be flattered that someone has come to you for help.
