I'm over the current "self-love" movement and I'm making it better.

I'm sorry (not sorry) "self love" has become an over used and over hyped bullsh*t term that was actually important and now doesn't mean anything real to anyone.

Marketing companies do what they do best and jump on every trendy buzzword over and over again until they kill it and take all meaning away.

SO. Through my business and things that are happening in my own life, I am introducing a concept of Self Devotion.

Self Devotion, is not getting your hair done. Self Devotion is the commitment to accepting yourself inside and out in all capacities - physical, mental, spiritual... all of them.

A Bo***ir Shoot is (in my biased opinion) the BEST way for a woman to engage in Self Devotion. No matter what stage of the journey she's in. (and it's really not even that scary, I pinky promise)

My life lately has been filling itself in with puzzle pieces from all over the 36 years I’ve been alive. Some from when I was very young, some from the middle and some from this morning. I heard this audio last week and suddenly got SO mad because I remembered a night in college.

I think it was a Friday, I was at a party and single, and this guy tried to take me home. I was very much not interested 🥱 He didn’t seem bothered at first but the night went on and he caught me outside and started talking to me and at some point asked me “what my number was” (not my cell phone number, but THE number) and I had no shame so I told him… his response “was WOW ok well when you are interested in dating someone seriously I suggest you don’t tell them that.” And I remember getting so outrageously irritated that there he was, in his stupid little white polo shirt that his daddy probably bought him.. who TRIED to take me home THAT NIGHT then had the balls to try and sl*t shame me when I turned him down… when we obviously know, if in that exact same moment in time if I had changed my mind, he very much would have taken me home. 🙄

Women are not inherently vain or vindictive. We just are told not to think good things about ourselves when pretentious do**he bags don’t get their way.

So now here I am. 16 years later trying to convince you of the same things. Book the shoot, hang the wall art on your walls, order the whole collection and do nothing but stare at yourself for the rest of your life. You’re perfect and there’s nothing wrong with you, I promise ❤️

I do every single one of these poses for you first. I show you where your hands go, where your feet go, which way to turn your hips, what to do with your face — down to the tiniest adjustments that make a HUGE difference in a photograph.

You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need to be “photogenic.”
You don’t need to practice in the mirror before you come in.

If you have a pulse, I can give you something to do with it. 😂
