Little known fact.. Cricket Prints started out in 2005 as a photo sharing website. Now we would call it social media. In 2005 we had the idea to build a site for communicating with friends & family. Our idea was to allow users to share a "chirp" containing 1 photo and text under it, then giving the choice to link to an album or other media. Our strength was organizing by tags & categories and allowing the users to put together storybooks to be printed or shared digitally. In our site, posts would be categorized (family, political, sports, etc.) and you would choose what to share and what you want to see. For example, if you don't want to see political posts, you don't see them. Also separating original thoughts from shared thoughts of others. Well, to make a long story short, we spent $1.3 million on the idea & struggled to get the word out, being a bit early on the social media front, then lost everything in a flood in 2008. As I have now experienced 15 years of social media, I still think our idea was better than what I have seen from all the other players. Now seeing what FB, Twitter & Amazon are doing to conservative voices, I'm tempted to try turn CricketPrints back on. I still own the site & I own the ideas. Basically Instagram ran with my idea. The Left is trying to silence the voices of 75 million conservatives, they want us all to hear crickets, well, I say we follow those crickets & see where their footprints lead.
If anyone has connections to those who could fund the resurrection, let me know.
