So, I recently picked up a Canon 24 to 70mm F2.8 zoom lens to replace an older lens that had recently stopped working with both of my Canon camera bodies. I did a lot of research on various lens that would over the wide angle to just beyond normal focal length range. A great place to find sound technical information and advice on camera gear including lenses, bodies, filters, you name it is The Digital Picture (See The-Digital-Picture.com). After I narrow my options with a sound web review, I auditioned different lenses by renting them from LensRentals.com, another great place to get camera gear. For me the Canon 24-70mm f2.8 was the lens of choice. Incredible glass. Quick accurate focusing. Amazing color and sharpness. See some shots below taken at Walden Pond State Reserve, once the home of one of my favorite authors, Henry David Thoreau.

More to follow on HDT. Enjoy. If you like these shots, stop by my website at http://lufoxphoto.fotomerchant.com. I am just getting it up and running, but you should find some additional shots from around New England in my "Reflections of New England" collection.

Best wishes,

Tad
