Tomorrow's theme is Helping Hands Gardening! Join us from 9:30am-12:30pm and practice mindfulness by helping w**d the garden and doing a plant activity.

Wonder Wednesdays are geared toward Pre-K and under, but all ages are welcome. All activities are hosted in the Downing Children’s Garden and included with general admission. They are come-and-go activities and each Wednesday during the month will have a different theme.

I am shooting in the Wichita Mountains near OKC this weekend y'all and I couldn't be more excited! I'll have REAL mountains in photos vs my photoshop'd arts and crafts time... see photos below! 😁 Big shout out to Sedgwick County Zoo for having the best parking lot of local wild flowers though to make this moment possible. 😅

This right here is why I LOVE weddings and babies.

Having the privilege of capturing the two most important milestones in someones lifetime is what has me fall in love with this work over and over. I was apart of the Dunning's wedding day about 10 years ago, and they came back to visit my home studio and brought their growing family.

Unpopular opinion here...

First looks are WAY better.

Beyond the overall connivence it adds to your wedding day and all the different ways that you can make it your own...

Seeing my clients take a full sigh of relief within those minutes after is just the best. Adrenaline is in full swing from the time you wake up and its during the first moments together... while everyone else is setting up, getting ready....

The Church nave is quiet and pews are empty....

you see your bride/groom.

THAT moment being shared with only each other..
( OH and me 🤫)

Creates SUCH a beautiful memory and the calm that your person can bring from then on is SO worth breaking tradition for!

I wanted to give a session this year to families who could get off work and come update their walls or Christmas cards with a cozy & casual set up that can STILL make a great gift for family members... how cute would it be to print this on a mug with a homemade cocoa set? To frame and give an RV ornament to the camper in your life? I wanted simple, fun and of course the ability to capture the REAL YOU.

Sessions will begin at $99 (plus tax) and $200 sessions for families wanting a little bit extra ( and Hot cocoa!)
