Normally, I love sunrises because of the sunlight, and how it plays with the foreground or background, or just the look of the sun creeping up over the horizon, all with the warmth of that first light. With Duncan Gardens, I love early mornings because the sunlight has not yet touched the scene, creating even light, with no strong shadows. And my favorite time of year is mid-August, when the flowers are full and mature. Another thing that makes Duncan Gardens so attractive is they grow different flowers each year. Certainly, some years are better than others, in the view of the beholder (I prefer the years with more vivid colors), but it's always beautiful. Enjoy!
