Today on Military Monday, we are proudly honoring an extraordinary individual, Frank, a World War II veteran who reaches a remarkable milestone of 100 years today. Frank's journey began with a desire to join the Navy, but due to height and weight restrictions, he was unable to enlist. Destiny had other plans, as he soon received a draft letter from the Army, leading to a distinguished military career that spanned both World War II and the Korean War.
Beyond his military service, Frank led a vibrant life as a horse jockey and, later, as a custodian of the silks. His passion for storytelling also shone through in his role as an author, where he beautifully chronicled his cherished relationship with his beloved wife. After an inspiring life of dedication and service, Frank finally retired at the age of 92.
As we celebrate this impressive centennial, join us in extending our warmest wishes to Frank on his 100th birthday. Thank you, Frank, for your service and the inspiring legacy you continue to create! Happy birthday!
