You know when you look back at a photograph and you can actually FEEL the moment? The sun warming you, the way the air brushes your skin, the soft grass beneath your feet, and for my expectant mommas, how it feels to carry your belly through each day, small kicks tapping “hello, I am here” ✨
When I was expecting my own son, I loved growing my body for this beautiful baby, and at the time he was all mine — I didn’t need to share him with the world. Day and night, he was cocooned safely within me, bumping away. While I don’t have many pictures of that time, I desperately wish I did. I remember the feeling, but deeply long for something more tangible.
Take the pictures. Feel the sun on your face. Twirl yourself around in a beautiful dress and throw your hair back because you are growing LIFE. Whether you have 10 sweet kiddos or this is your first precious babe, breathe for a session and allow yourself to just be pregnant — whatever that looks like for you. For this beautiful momma, it meant going all out — and a sun goddess she became 🔆
