Our profile picture finally made it to the grid! 📸

This is actually how VANDEGANG started: with self-portraits.

Self-portraits are always a great opportunity to try new ideas, explore new concepts, keep creating when you don’t have a model, or simply update your profile photos 😅. Since we’re a duo, we’re always each other’s models and photographers!

We love taking self-portraits because they allow us to document our journey, experiment, and continue growing as creatives.

We believe that sometimes two minds work better than one, which is why most of the time you’ll have both of us behind the scenes, creating for you and with you!

SELF PORTRAITS TIME!!!
This time, your trusty photographers are the main characters in this portrait series 😎

For those who have been here for a while, and for those reading this for the first time, we wanted to reintroduce ourselves: Hi! We’re Samantha and Miguel, the photographers and creators behind VANDEGANG!

We’re from Aguascalientes, Mexico, where we attended university and studied Graphic Design (Sam) and Architecture (Miguel). So yes, you have two professional photographers with unique perspectives that are shaped by creativity, art, and the constant desire to create!

We’re currently based in Northern Indiana, but we’re always excited to travel wherever your story takes us.

We’ve been doing photography for around five years now. During that time, we’ve explored many different types of photography, from product and food photography to weddings and architecture. On this side of VANDEGANG, we’ve specialized in portraits and lifestyle photography. But that’s only half of the story! The other side of VANDEGANG is dedicated to architecture and interior photography.
