I realized I haven’t posted much lately, and the reason is simple, I’ve been absolutely slammed in the best possible way!

Spring is always one of the busiest seasons of the year. Between dance recitals, graduation sessions, branding sessions, family portraits, and milestone sessions for all ages, my calendar has been wonderfully full.

If you’ve been thinking about booking a session, now is the time to reach out. Before we know it, Kentucky summer will be here and those outdoor sessions can get pretty warm, making indoor sessions look even more appealing!

Send me a message or leave a comment, and I’d be happy to work something out. Just keep in mind that I don’t schedule back-to-back sessions. I want every client to have a relaxed experience without feeling rushed, so once someone books a date, I close that spot on my calendar.

I recently had the absolute joy of taking Pre-K graduation pictures, and my heart still isn’t over all the tiny personalities I got to capture. From the shy little smiles to the nonstop giggles, every child brought their own spark in front of the camera.

One of my favorite parts of photography is using my MEG Technique, capturing movement, expression, and the incredible growth happening right before our eyes. These sessions are about more than a perfect pose; they’re about preserving who these little ones are in this season of life.

It’s hard to believe these tiny graduates will one day become seniors walking across another stage. I truly hope years from now I’ll get the honor of taking their senior graduation pictures too.

One thing we can ALL agree on, summer flies by way too fast ☀️

Summer is full of the little things that matter most, the Movement of your kids running through the grass, jumping into the pool, dancing in the driveway, and never slowing down.

The Expression in their laughter, messy smiles, muddy toes, sleepy cuddles, and the way they look at the people they love most.

The Growth that somehow happens right in front of us while we’re busy trying to soak it all in.

And somewhere between all of that…you realize you barely took any photos WITH your kiddos.

Trust me… this is my life too.

That’s honestly why I created these Summer Family Sessions. I wanted something simple, affordable, stress free, no pressure.

There is something so special about watching a group of girls truly lift each other up. Being invited to capture this squad was such a joy. The encouragement, the laughter, the confidence they poured into one another… it was beautiful from beginning to end.

Every time one of them stepped in front of the camera for a solo moment, the others were right there cheering her on. The giggles when they all piled together for group shots, the hugs, the heart hands, the pure excitement of just being together, it was the kind of energy that fills your heart to the brim.

Meaningful friendships matter so much for our kids. Having people beside you who celebrate your wins, hype you up, and make you feel seen is such a gift. This group did that in all the best ways, and capturing their bond was absolutely amazing.

To the mothers, thank you.

Thank you for creating the movement that fills our galleries and our hearts. The spinning dresses, tiny hands reaching up, bedtime snuggles, windblown hair, laughter in motion, the beautiful chaos that becomes the story of a family. You create the moments worth capturing.

Thank you for being the keepers of expression. The ones who preserve the smiles, wipe the tears, celebrate the milestones, and hold tight to the little things before they become memories. Your love is written across every photograph.

And thank you for growth. For giving your children the space to become exactly who they are meant to be. For nurturing, encouraging, guiding, and loving through every season. Watching families grow through my lens is one of the greatest honors of this work.
