So in February for only very brief times the milkyway makes an appearance above the horizon early in the morning. On the 5th it was about 6°F outside and I had to fight the clouds but I managed to get a shot of the milkyway right at astronomical dawn. What I like about this one in particular is that I have Jupiter on the right and venus on the left joining the milkyway as well as by luck caught a meteor just to the left and above Jupiter. Always nice when everything comes together despite the clouds trying to spoil my plans!

Oregon got some snow in a good majority of the low lands and I am hyped to say that I got out to the gorge and shot some of the falls while they were laced in snow! Great day. I'll post photos once I'm done editing them.

Where do you like to explore? I'm thinking its about time to get back to some adventures! I am probably going to start with the gorge but need more places to check out!

I always miss waterfall Wednesday so I'm gonna call this a smooth Saturday with the base of this no name waterfall my dad showed me the other day! I personally love how it's a fall that leads into a river it made it interesting to get the water how I wanted it to look.

F8, iso 100, 1/2" for the waterfall

F8, iso 100, 4" in smooth reflection for the river

It's a frozen Friday with this post right here!

When I was crunching my way through the snow looking for more things to shoot this frozen boi caught my attention and I was like alright I gotta juxtapose this with the trees off in the distance. I feel like it gives a different sense of scale to the image and of course that tastttty golden light makes it even better! What are you all doing this weekend any plans? Tell me what cool stuff you're off to do!!
