After working for nearly 10 years in the advertising world as a marketing photographer, I shifted gears into full time motherhood. I started painting again and now I work in both photography and painting. I try to find a balance between capturing stories on camera, and creating stories in my abstract paintings. I’m inspired by nature, traveling, and observing day-to-day life.

I think we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to create a picture perfect sketchbook but guess what? It doesn't have to be perfect-it can be whatever you want and need it to be!

I take time to meditate and play with colors. I’m always afraid to start. I ruin parts of pieces that I love, change colors of other pieces completely.​​​​​​​​

But as I play and just let go beautiful things begin to happen.
