A VERY important reminder, I will be out of office 4/22 until at least May 4th. Possibly sooner if all goes well. I will reply to messages and emails depending on how I am healing. I am having surgery. I will not be able to photograph any sessions until the beginning to mid June.

I am still accepting retouching, mentor sessions, dressage freestyles, and social media work after 5/4.

What a beautiful day to be a Nikon photographer.

Posting Luna today to Interstellar by Hans Zimmer felt very appropriate. The launch of Artemis II has me very emotional. The commander Reid Wiseman photographed some beautiful pictures of earth. You can see Africa, Europe, and even the northern lights. It wasn't until later that I discovered it was shot on a Nikon D5. For a second it felt like it was me up there capturing the Earth. I've shot on a Nikon since my very early days of photography.

Fun fact, I wanted to do a lot of things as a kid (if you know me, you know that hasn't changed), and being an astronaut was one of them. But here I am on earth, a horse loving, tattoo obsessed, metalhead, flutist photographer. The arts are the closest I will get to the stars.

A few days ago I asked you, cinematic or true to color? The choice from you all was clear - true to color! It's such a timeless look that it's difficult to stray from.

After having a chat with my photographer colleague and friend she helped me come up with a solution. Planned, styled sessions with the intent of color grading. While I am down and out from surgery I'm going to start putting together a personal photography project. Stay tuned for more details! I will be doing a model call for horses and people. Be prepared to get fun and crazy!

Question for my followers. I am at a bit of a turning point and curious what your thoughts are. Do you prefer the edits on the first two photos (cinematic color grading ) or the last two photos (true to color)?

Throwing it back to at the this past fall! I'm absolutely biased but Blind Guardian puts on the most incredible show. The crowd can't help but scream sing every song. I always leave with my spirit totally renewed.

Blind Guardian has been my favorite band since I was a pr***en and it's such an honor and dream to be able to capture them performing.

A huge thank you to for making this dream of mine happen. I can't wait for the next show. 🖤
