Sweet little Prairie Sky came in for her newborn session at over a month old, and I'll admit, I wasn't sure how many of my typical newborn poses we'd be able to get.

Well, this little miss proved me wrong!

She slept, she posed, and she was absolutely perfect. She made my job so easy and gave us such a beautiful gallery. Just goes to show that even when babies are a little older, it's never too late to capture these precious memories ✨

This sweet little guy was originally scheduled to come see me around 2½ weeks old, but mom quickly realized just how fast those newborn days were flying by. Before she knew it, he was already changing, and she didn't want to miss a thing.

So we moved his session up and captured him at just over a week old, freezing all those tiny details that seem to change overnight. 💙

One of my favorite things about newborn photography is preserving these moments before they're gone.

Little Mr. Roman came in wide awake and ready to party for his newborn session.
This little guy had me laughing with all the serious glares he was giving me. He was determined to keep an eye on everything going on around him!

But even the spiciest babies can't resist a good wrap job. Once he was all snugged in, he drifted right off to sleep and even gave me a couple of sweet smiles 🥹💙

I'd say that's a successful newborn session!
