Heather Whittaker Photography I am an amateur photographer providing free photos to individuals, entrepreneurs and pretty much anyone who wants a portrait. Yes, that's right... free.

This is my way of giving back and spreading joy, kindness, and love in my community. I believe everyone deserves to feel beautiful, and if I can provide a photo which makes someone smile, why not? As an entrepreneur myself, I remember needing help when starting my business, so if I can provide a photo that helps a new business move forward, why not? If I have the ability to bring some joy to someo

ne in some way, why not? Our world needs more of that, not less. I do two free photoshoots a month within the Fox Valley area of WI, so contact me if you want to get on my schedule. Take a look at the posts to see some of my work. Whether a person, product, or place, I am happy to take photos for you, your family or your business. Headshots, group shots, products, food... the option is yours. (One Note: I do not do events such as weddings, baptisms, etc.) I have been incredibly blessed in my lifetime and know I am very fortunate to be living the life I live. Street / Public Photography: I've been remiss at keeping up with photography. These photos are from about two months ago at the Wisconsin Sand Sculpting Festival in Manitowoc WI. I just wanted to get some pictures of random people at a public event. (Click on the photos to open for the best view.)

What I learned about myself: I enjoy close up shots, macro type photography vs full scene, pulled back shots. And, apparently, I lean towards darker, higher contrast edits vs light and airy, bright photos. Maybe I do have a 'style'???

Just playing around with shutter speed. With a slow speed, the water is smooth and flowing; with a fast speed, the individual drops of water are visible. Most photographers and artists prefer the slow speed with flowing whispy water. I've always been a fan of the faster speeds, however. I like seeing the individual droplets dancing as they fall.
