Milestone sessions are one of the most skipped… but honestly? They’re some of the most important.
Babies change so much in that first year — and these in-between stages deserve to be documented just as much as newborn and one year. My favorite ages to photograph:

• When they’re holding their head up independently
• When they’re sitting unassisted
• When they start crawling

These can be quick and simple sessions focused just on baby — or we can include updated family photos too.

Because the biggest changes happen in the smallest windows.

I had an actual princess in front of the camera today. She came to help me test the light in my mini in-home studio.

I didn’t take these with the intent on posting them, I just needed her to help me test the light and background. I asked her to get dressed and this is what she chose. With snow in the forecast this weekend, I think I’m officially ready to leave the pumpkins behind and step into the Christmas/winter mindset. ❄️✨
