Although the couple is my highest priority on a wedding day, I also value serving and loving your family as well. 🏠

I understand that they have to be just as patient with me as I need to be with them when working together to take large group photos. It’s helpful when they listen and are ready when I need them, but I also aim to be as organized and ready as I can be and to be kind and patient when giving them direction for photos. I always want your loved ones to walk away from our time together feeling that they were treated with gentleness and respect. 💌

I love getting to meet the people who mean the most to you !!! 🥹

Everywhere I looked there was something beautiful. And it wasn’t only the candlelit reception and stunning charcuterie spread, or the draping florals and cathedral stairs…what stood out was how truly happy the bride and groom were and how thrilled their loved ones were to simply celebrate them. All of their guests did a wonderful job making Nick and Abby’s wedding about just that, Nick and Abby. Countless smiles and intimate reunions…moments that passed too quickly. A kiss on the cheek from grandma during the send off, cheers from old college roommates, a quick tear escaping dad’s eye during his speech. I haven’t gotten over this wedding and I am so grateful to have been able to celebrate Nick and Abby in a small way. ✨🥂🌿

I will always speak highly of vendors any chance I get and Colton and Kristi are no exception. They seriously blew me away. They love the Lord and it’s so evident in how they interact with and take care of their clients, as well as how they conduct their business and treat eachother as a vendor team & husband and wife. Patience and grace with one another, genuine excitement for their clients, and hospitality and care towards their team and other vendors. They are the perfect blend of professionalism and fun, and it was a privilege to work with and learn from them. The few hours we worked alongside eachother left such an impact and I would highly recommend them to anyone and suggest you give them a follow if you haven’t already! 💌

All the snow that we are getting this week in West Michigan has me thinking back to Erik and Alma’s courthouse wedding from last year. 💍✨❄️
Their loved one’s warm wishes and embraces contrasted the cold and stunning snow so perfectly. It was a beautiful and joyful afternoon and I’m so thankful to have been able to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. Shackelford in a small way. A few days late, but happy one year anniversary to Erik and Alma! 🤎

An evening well spent celebrating Hailey and Taylor 🏫🥂✨

This venue couldn’t have been more fitting for the Zeilengas. With Hailey being a teacher, the Schoolhouse felt like a second home—warm and inviting, it made a perfect backdrop for the intentional and intimate celebration that had been envisioned. If you think you saw me crying during the speeches…you definitely did. 🫢🥺😭 A simple, joy-filled, and beautifully fun evening—so perfectly “them.” 🤎
