Rides & Vibes presented by Grand Junction Sports Commission starts today!!! Come downtown for the free concerts and to enjoy the crit races later this afternoon. I'll see you there!

I love shooting this event because it focuses on community and having fun. Two things that I love and value about living in Grand Junction!!

Dominic Sisneros is ready to hit the track at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games with Team Colorado Athletics!

He’s looking forward to meeting new people from across the country while giving his all every time he steps on the track. To prepare for the national stage, Dominic has been training with Train 4 Life, along with running, eating healthier, and staying hydrated.

At USA Games, Dominic is focused on doing his best and lives by the Special Olympics Athlete Oath. “But if I cannot win, I can be brave in the attempt and listen to my coaches,” he shared, adding that most of all, he wants to have fun.

The Rim Rock Half Marathon by Grand Junction Sports Commission was recently featured in USA Today 10 Best and one of my photos was the featured photo! Along with the featured photo are some of my favorites from last year.

It's no surprise that this race ranked in the top 10 with the gorgeous views of the Colorado National Monument, right in Grand Junction's back yard!

The Blood Moon, or Total Lunar Eclipse, from earlier this morning.

What a treat it was to see the moon turn this orange/red hue. It made the early windy morning worth it!!
