Wedding Tip Wednesdays: Practice putting on your dress

Decide who you want to help you into your dress and practice putting it on together. Some dresses have complex bodices, super long trains or bustle hooks that keep appearing even after you thought you got them all. No matter if it zips, ties, hooks or buttons up, it will take longer than you think, so practice!

When your spouse is dancing with their mom, dad, grandparent or other loved one, watch...really watch. The person(s) they chose to have that special moment in the spotlight with is important and close to them so savor it with them by being fully present during it. Those 3 minutes are filled with so much emotion, you won't want to miss a second of it!

Where you get ready on your wedding day is entirely up to you. Most venues have a getting ready suite on property, which is ideal. Those that don't offer this, require choosing a separate location. It’s best to select a location that’s nearby so you don’t have to worry too much about traffic or transportation in general.
