Us Michiganders know the feeling… that stretch of the year where the sun teases us, the snow finally disappears, and we’re all collectively asking the same question:

Can it be beach weather yet?

This stunning project with is still one of my favorites — the kind of home that feels like summer even when Michigan hasn’t quite caught up yet. Light pouring in, soft coastal textures, and spaces that practically beg for sandy feet and open windows.

A little nod to art history tucked right into this blue-accented bathroom 🫡✨

This piece is inspired by the geometric clarity and bold primary colors of Piet Mondrian — one of the early 20th century masters who helped shape modern art as we know it. His work was all about balance, form, and harmony… and here, it plays beautifully against clean lines, minimal tile, and a single punch of cobalt blue.

Photographed for , this space is a reminder that design can be both functional and deeply intentional — even a powder room can tell a story.
