I am renting out a studio at GR Studio Space next week Saturday, November 20, and have TWO spots left.

ā„ļø4pm-4:30pm
ā„ļø4:30pm-5pm

Check out the backdrops in the studio this year!
Cost is $175 with no additional fee for the studio, 20-30 digital images available to download from an online gallery.

I will also do my best to have all galleries delivered by the end of the first week of December, to give you time to get your Christmas cards ordered and sent out! šŸŽ„

It has been a LONG time since Iā€™ve posted anything on this page! Between having a 3-year-old at home with me, job changes, and all of the changes that came with COVID-19, I have not made work of trying to take any photos for anyone, and definitely have been neglecting this page. However! A little while ago, I was able to take some newborn/family photos for my longtime friend, who had just given birth to her 3rd daughter!

Iā€™ve known Christa since we were in our 20ā€™s, both single, trying to figure life out. Fast forward all of these years later, Christa, and her husband, Kyle, have given me the honor of photographing all 3 of their daughters. It somewhat pains me to see how their oldestā€™s newborn photos look compared to the ones Iā€™m posting here, but thatā€™s part of learning and evolving.

I just wanted to share a few of my favorites here.

My sister-in-law had asked me to do a coupleā€™s shoot in costume of her and my brother. I wasnā€™t sure what to expect when I pulled into the parking lot of Provin Trails, but as you can see, she is extremely creative with costumes and hand-made the hats/mushroom tops.

The weather and location were so perfect and both things helped me capture more of the darker vibe they were going for.

I really appreciated Christin asking me to take these since it made me think outside of the box for how to bring her vision to life as this was a totally different shoot than Iā€™ve done before! šŸ„šŸ„

Do you need a new headshot or photo to help promote your business? Maybe just a new photo for your LinkedIn profile to grab attention? These photo sessions are so quick and affordable!

Ken just started his own handyman business and needed some photos taken so his potential clients could put a face with the name. This session took less than 30 minutes, and there were over 75 photos to choose from! We added just a few objects related to his business to help advertise a few of his specific areas of expertise.

I decided to take a break from photography when I had my daughter, Evelyn. To be honest, it took a while for me to feel like I could find a good balance between working, motherhood, friendship, marriage and doing things I enjoy on my own. Iā€™ve done a few sessions over the past year from referrals I received (thank you to those who referred me!) but I have been nervous to try to get back into this more regularly, since itā€™s such a competitive field to be in!

After second shooting a couple weddings with my childhood bestie the past 2 weekends, Iā€™m feeling the fire starting to grow in me again and I was reminded why I fell in love with taking photos in the first place.

With that said, in celebration of Evelyn turning 10-months-old today, I would like to offer $50 off a 1-hour session (family, senior, other portrait photography) of your choice, if you book a session for July or August. Jamie is a professional writer and she was looking for some headshots to be taken to be used on her blog and for some of her other professional work.

It ended up being the perfect time of day with perfect light and weather, as we walked throughout downtown Rockford (Michigan). As you can see, she is also very photogenic, so there wasn't much work to be done on my end!
