Can we be a little real for a second?

We’ve seen SO many wedding vendors struggling lately, and honestly… we understand why.

The cost of everything is skyrocketing. Couples have more decisions to make than ever. And getting ghosted after spending time putting together a thoughtful inquiry response? Yeah… it sucks.

Or getting completely prepared, sitting at our computers, camera-ready and excited for a client call… only to sit there watching the minutes pass and realizing they aren’t coming.

No response. No “hey, something came up.” Just… silence.

We know it’s part of the game. We know we aren’t going to be the right fit for everyone. But man, sometimes it’s hard not to take it personally when you’ve poured so much of yourself into this business.

Every inquiry we get isn’t just another number in our inbox. We actually get excited. We take the time to write personalized emails, look at your venue, talk about your plans, and genuinely picture what it would be like to be part of your day.

Because we CARE. Like… a lot.

And if we’re being completely honest, there are definitely days where we wonder if we should just give up.

But then we pick up our cameras.

And we remember that we genuinely cannot imagine our lives without photography.

It’s our passion. It’s the thing we’ll probably still be talking about when we’re 80. 😂

So even when business feels hard, we’re not going anywhere.

We’ll keep showing up.
Keep creating.
Keep cheering on our couples.
Keep rooting for our fellow vendors.
And keep chasing this crazy little dream of ours.

Because we really, really love what we do. 🤍

A little behind the scenes of what actually happens after we leave your wedding day.

Yes, we have a few go-to presets that we use as a starting point, but we definitely don’t just throw one on the whole gallery and hit export.

We go through every photo individually.

The lighting can change from one photo to the next, skin tones can look different, there might be something distracting in the background that needs to be cleaned up, or maybe someone’s skin needs a little softening. Sometimes it’s just making tiny adjustments that you probably wouldn’t even notice—but together, they make a difference.

Even photos taken seconds apart can need completely different edits.

It takes a lot longer this way, but we really want to give every image our attention instead of rushing through your gallery just to get it delivered.

So when you’re looking at your finished gallery, just know there was a lot of time spent behind the scenes making sure each photo felt right. 🤍

And yes… we are absolutely the people who will zoom in to 200% and obsess over something you probably would have never noticed 😂
