I work with a lot of first-time moms but lately I’ve had the honor of photographing mamas who are in their last pregnancy.

Each pregnancy is special, of course, but there is something sentimental knowing this is the last time you’ll feel little one’s movement inside you… their kicks, hiccups, those sudden punches to your rib cage 😂… well maybe not the last part haha.

This is a beautiful phase of life, and it deserves to be documented. 💛

Life is a series of thousands of tiny miracles. Notice them ✨

I woke up thinking about a few things I’m grateful for. With all that’s going on in the world, I was surprised how some of the most basic things entered my mind.

This time of year in the Midwest is extra blah.. everyone’s ready for spring and longer days and warmer temps again… which I’ve definitely noticed the extra sunshine we’ve had, but if you’re feeling particularly doom and gloom, just pause for a little gratitude practice. It really does help 💛
