Today's week video is much longer than any other is or will be--because there is a sad tale behind it, and I wanted to include as many images as I could from all of this family's sessions over the years.
If you have been following along with my posts, you will have seen this family numerous times, always smiling, and so very photogenic. My heart, while filled with such joy over the fun I've had with Kristana and her lovely family, is also sad because 3 months ago this Friday her husband, Ron, was killed in a car accident. And today would have been his 44th birthday; Friday would have been their 10 year anniversary. I cannot imagine the pain and sorrow anyone would feel losing a spouse...But I am so grateful have to captured many photos of Ron to keep his memory alive through his family and children.
Please, hug your loved ones a little tighter today, and send up a thought or prayer for my dear friend Kristana and her two young boys as they traverse this incredibly difficult time.
