Mr. George was my high school teacher....the person who actually taught me how to public speak and always saw my heart, my spirit, and my drive to advocate for others even back then. But our story didn’t end at graduation.
Over the years, our paths kept crossing in the best ways. They became clients at my salon, which turned into a genuine, deep friendship with him and his wife. When I went through the unimaginable loss of my first child, they were there for me, wrapping their arms around me and connecting me with family who understood the same pain...a connection that blessed me with another lifelong friend.
Life kept coming full circle: years later, my own son even had his son as a teacher in high school!
Getting to capture these extended family photos now that they are official grandparents is just so special to me. Watching their family grow, and knowing we’ve walked through different seasons of life together, is something I’ll always cherish. Thank you for always seeing me, then and now.
